World's biggest football tournament FIFAWorld Cup will be held again this summer in Brazil. The mega tournament
will be watch by over a billion people from all parts of the world. Since 1930
total 19 World Cup Football tournaments have been played and won by
eight different countries.
- The biggest ever attendance for a World Cup match is 200,000 people. It happened for a match between Brazil and Uruguay during the 1950 World Cup.

- The maximum number of appearances in world cup matches is 25. It was done by great German footballer Lothar Matthaus.
